Visual Arts Conservatory
Visual students study in a college style program with emphasis on studio experiences. The Visual Arts Department offers AP Drawing, AP 2D studio, AP 3D studio and AP Art History as part of the required curriculum. Our students exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas City Hall, Texas Art Education Building in Austin, local galleries and on our own campus. They compete on the local, state and national level in many juried exhibitions.
Don't miss this opportunity to review the portfolios and interview our talented students. See more info below about how colleges can meet, recruit and network with our inspiring artists.
The Details
Short version
Our whole school shuts down to host colleges from all over the nation to lead master classes and interact with our students. Visual Arts has a portfolio review on Friday afternoon. All of our constituents come together to provide hospitality, performances, and networking for our students. It’s a fun and inspiring event. Please join us!
The Hospitality Room 170 will be available all day both days with coffee, treats, snacks, etc.
Lunch will be provided both days for all college guests. If you are just attending the portfolio review on Friday at 12:30, please join us early for lunch!
Our Senior Showcase Exhibit will be up in our Hudson Art Gallery and the reception is Thursday Nov 21st from 5-7 pm. We would love all college reps in town to come by the reception!
