College Showcase
Visual Arts Schedule of Events
What
Join us Thursday and Friday (November 17th and 18th) to see our Visual Art studios in action. We encourage working artists and college reps to sign up to host workshops/Master Classes. Friday, November 18th is our Visual Arts Portfolio Review.
The Hospitality Room 170 will be available all day both days with coffee, treats, snacks, etc.
Lunch will be provided both days for all college guests. If you are just attending the portfolio review on Friday at 12:30, please join us early for lunch!
Our Senior Showcase Exhibit will be up in our own Hudson Art Gallery and the reception is Thursday Nov 17th from 5-7 pm. We would love all college reps in town to come by the reception!
How
Visual Arts schools/programs are encouraged to participate in a portfolio review and lead a presentation, master class, or workshop. Once you register on the website, Kyle Clark will reach out to schedule a workshop (if you elected to lead one). If you are not sure about leading a class or have questions before you register, please email jameclark@dallasisd.org

Workshops/Master Classes
Workshops will be 3 hours in length. Faculty and College Reps have hosted a wide variety of workshops in the past. Examples: slip casting, wooden rings, monotypes, shibori, photography lighting, cyanotypes, welding, fashion drawing, etc. We welcome any of your fun, hands-on workshop ideas to share with our students. We can provide most supplies for your workshop.
